Stonyfield Summer in a Box Giveaway

*This giveaway is no longer accepting entries**

And the winner chosen at random is… Kristie! Congratulations Kristie! So glad to pass along this Summer in a Box gift from Stonyfield, especially since you are already a fan of their products. Enjoy!

Ah, summertime. And the livin’ is easy. I just love summer – wearing my flip flops every day, eating fresh NJ produce from the farmer’s market, enjoying the long summer nights. But you know what else I love? Giveways!

Stonyfield Farms loves summer too and has graciously offered The Flavorful Fork readers a Summer in the Box giveaway valued at over $80. So let’s open the box and take a look, shall we?

You may know, if you have followed my Do One Thing series, that I strongly believe in switching from conventional to organic dairy products. Making the switch to organic milk is a pretty easy adjustment these days. Organic milk is readily available in all the supermarkets and a number of different options are usually available. Not so for organic ice cream though.

That’s why I love that Stonyfield Farms has recently introduced their frozen organic yogurt bars in “Gotta Have Vanilla” and “After Dark Chocolate”. Not only are they organic, they are lower in fat and calories too! Each bar is 170 calories, about 30% less than other ice cream bars.

The giveway box contains two coupons for these yummy frozen yogurt bars.

Given the downright sweltering temperatures we have had this summer, it is important to remember to drink regularly and nothing feels more synonymous with summer time than a cold, tall glass of lemonade. All of Uncle Matt’s juices are made from 100% organic fruit made in the good old US of A. Uncle Matt’s is the oldest organic orange juice company in the country and when you purchase one of their organic juices you are helping to support 20 local farmers that make up their family of farms.

The giveaway box contains a coupon for 1 free Uncle Matt’s organic juice of your choice.

We’ve all done it, haven’t we? The sun, the sand, the waves….oy, the sunburn! Badger After Sun Balm, with soothing Jojoba Oil, Shea butter, and Cocoa butter helps restore your sun-parched skin. It works great for other kinds of burns too.

The giveway box contains one container of Badger After Sun Balm.

Melissa Day Cream is an organic day cream for combination skin. In addition to managing shine from oily skin, it also helps soothe reddened and dry skin and has a wonderful lemony scent.

The giveaway box contains one tube of Dr. Hauschka’s Melissa Day Cream.

Recently, I made the switch to Tom’s of Maine toothpaste and deodorant. I feel better knowing that their products have not been tested on animals and that they willingly disclosed a list of all the ingredients, their purpose and where they came from. Tom’s of Maine toothpaste doesn’t have that super sugary-sweet taste that leading toothpastes do. The deodorant has a clean, wonderful smell and lasts all day. Their products have no artificial colors, flavors, fragrances or preservatives. A bonus for buying Tom’s of Maine…Tom’s of Maine donates 10% of their profits to  to charitable organizations that support the environment, human needs, the arts, and education.

The giveaway box includes one tube of Tom’s of Maine Simply White toothpaste, their 24 hour Beautiful Earth deodorant and a bar of Daily Moisture beauty bar.

So how do you get this Summer in a Box goodness?

  1. LOve it!! What a great giveaway!

    • This is really neat. we have used Toms of Maine for years! The Badger balm we used before also. I did not know Stoneyfield had ice cream pops. cool.
I used to buy the yogurt when my kids were younger, and they had the planet protcetor club. still love the company!

  2. For our family, we try to choose organic and local. In the summer, I find it is easy–we have our own organic veggie garden and lots of great organic farms nearby. when we can’t find organic produce, we go local. And we’ve made the dairy switch and I have to say, I already feel lighter and healthier doing it!

  3. Jeanine L. says:

Being organic to me means buying organic products and produce whenever possible. I love Stonyfield!

  4. Organic means healthier to me, and we try to eat/use organic as much as we can.

  5. Hi Fran! I say next to you at the Stoneyfield luncheon with Robyn O’Brien!

Organic to me means real food, no GMO’s, no pesticides. Just unadulturated food.

BTW, I can’t wait to check out your one thing series.

  6. To me organic = natural

I think summer is an easier time to “be organic” what with tons of local farms and what not. We also tried our hand at a backyard veggie garden this summer which has been a lot of fun!

  7. Being organic to me means eating healthier more natural foods and produce – eliminating the exposure to chemicals and pesticides. Currently we are trying to incorporate those choices into our family’s food plan on a regular basis.

  8. I have been growing some vegetables and herbs at home without using pesticides. This is part of my effort to incorporate healthier and organic foods in my diet.

  9. Organic means making simple, healthy and natural choices that are good for me and my family. We get our produce at our local farmer’s market, where many famers use organic methods. We shop as savvy as possible at the grocery store. Being organic means giving our girls a good start in life!

  10. Randi Kobielnik says:

Organic to me means living healthy and natural in every way possible! We grow our own veggies and I only clean with all natural products!

  11. I am trying to slowly turn my family onto more organic eating/living. I’ve been hitting up the Collingswood Farmers Mkt for fresh, organic produce & to help out with substainable lving etc. Love the produce that is there!

    Great giveaway.
    Thanks for hosting.

  12. Organic to me means less exposure to harmful pesticides or chemicals that could cause health problems down the road. I love to eat locally grown produce when possible. Tom’s of Maine and Stoneyfield are two of my favorite brands!

  13. Our family visits the local farmers market every weekend and we try to buy local. At the grocery store, we choose organic products, even if it means spending a teensy bit more. Organic just means REAL to me – no nonsense!

  14. Great giveaway! I try to buy the boys organic yogurt, and have been recently switching our cleaning products to organic as well. It’s not much, but it’s a start!

  15. Organic means feeding my kiddos stuff I don’t have to worry about, and we could all use less to worry about! We all love our Stoneyfield yogurt in smoothies, parfaits and straight up.

  16. Woo Hoo!!! I’m so excited I won 🙂 It must have been my birthday luck 🙂
