The weather here in New Jersey has been absolutely fantastic! Sunny and in the mid 70′s. This means that our family has the craving for ICE CREAM! Given that we have yummy frozen treats on our mind and this week’s post provided tips on creating delicious freezable meals, today’s fabulous finds are all frozen.

Happy Good Friday! This weekend calls for beautiful Easter hats, fun egg hunts (weather permitting) and yummy treats. Still looking for that special recipe for your Easter gathering? Here are a few ideas to make this Easter egg-stra special.
Passover, in my mind, is the Jewish equivalent of Thanksgiving. Family and friends are gathered around the table eating leisurely, drinking plentifully. Everyone takes the time to recline in their chairs and reflect on good fortune that has been bestowed upon them over the past year while also remembering the ill-fortune that has befallen others. A large festive meal of traditional dishes are consumed. It truly is a holiday I look forward to every year.

Are you ready for the Academy Awards this Sunday? In years past, I used to love settling into the couch to watch, starting with the pre-show of course so I could critique all of the gowns. As the years went by and I transitioned from single girl to busy mom, I lost touch with the world of movies. It just thrills me that I have actually seen one of the movies that has been nominated for Best Picture this year! Here’s the list. Guess which one I was able to catch.
